Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: 14501 E 35th Place, Aurora 80011

Hours: 7:00am to 4:00pm

Company Summary

Colorado Industrial Packaging is a family-owned custom packaging manufacturer and distributor. We provide solutions for a wide range of customers including semiconductor, defense, aerospace, medical, and other manufacturing industries. Our Denver facility grew 3x from 2018 to 2022, and our goal is to 3x again over the next 4 years. We are looking for a customer service and sales administrator who wishes to be a key player in the next part of our team's journey.

Job Summary

This position is our front-line of customer interaction and is the focal point between sales, operations, and customer service. Responsible for growing customer relationships, working with sales reps, coordinating with logistics and production, and completing administrative functions. This role works closely with our house accounts and inbound customers, where you will provide quotes, process orders, purchase and receive materials, build our production schedule, and more. This is a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of our business, and to learn a wide array of skills. Reports to the General Manager, and works closely with sales, and our Production & Logistics Manager. Industrial environment.

Pay Benefits

  • Base salary: $45,000 - $60,000

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Customer service: Respond to inquiries including pricing, lead time, delivery dates, product information. Build relationships, handle or escalate objections. Provide product solutions for smaller accounts as needed (understand what customer needs, propose solution, quote, win business). Communicate important customer feedback internally.
  • Quoting: Work with customers, sales, engineering to produce quotes FAST.
  • Purchasing: Order raw material, finished goods, office supplies.
  • Administrative: Order entry, build our production schedule, invoicing, receiving.

Training

Training is provided for all aspects of the job, including how to use a pallet jack as a scooter. All new hires undergo a 2-month training period. The training period is designed to ensure a proper fit for both CIP and the candidate. We want our employees to love working at CIP!
