**Job Overview:**

Colorado Ophthalmology and Cosmedics, an esteemed ophthalmic/aestheticspractice situated at SkyRidge Medical Center in Lone Tree, CO, is seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to join our dynamic team. Dr. Margolis, with over three decades of experience in Colorado, leads our practice committed to cutting-edge technology for diagnostics and surgical care. As a leading Dry Eye Center in the state, we offer a comprehensive range of therapeutic and diagnostic technologies to provide top-notch care to our patients.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform various diagnostic tests using advanced equipment such as Humphrey VF, HDA Lens Analyzer, Optovue OCT, Optos, Diopsys ERG/VEP, Visia Skin Analyzer, Atlas Topographer, and IOL Master.

- Maintain testing schedule efficiently and effectively.

- Train staff on equipment operation and testing procedures.

- Ensure calibration and troubleshoot equipment as needed.

- Support resident training programs for family practice physicians and neurology residents.

- Encourage pursuit of certifications like COA or COT through experience and JACAPO testing.

- Educate patients on procedures and assist in their understanding of treatment plans.

**Qualifications:**

- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in ophthalmology is required.

- Proficiency in medical records management, medical coding, clinic operations, and medical billing.

- Familiarity with front desk duties and retail math.

- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and physiology/anatomy is beneficial.
