Company Overview:The Colorado Karting Circuit “CKC” is the premier karting track development situated in Centennial, CO. Our mission is to become a leading entertainment destination in the area. CKC is committed to bringing significant infrastructure enhancements to the former Track at Centennial kart track. Development plans include construction of a main building, member garages, and other site amenities which are scheduled to commence in the Q3 of 2024. CKC will offer comprehensive arrive & drive rental karting, corporate event hosting, and racing leagues for the general public. As a versatile entertainment venue, CKC will also accommodate professional karting events, private membership and garage rentals, and various race events. Owner karting is planned to commence in 2024, with the rental program set to launch in 2025.

Job Overview:The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operational aspects of the karting circuit, ensuring the maintenance of exemplary operational standards.

Job Duties:

• Supervise and lead all staff, including full-time and seasonal employees
• Ensure adherence to operational guidelines and insurance standards for kart track safety
• Develop revenue budgets and implement strategies to maintain low operating costs
• Manage inventory for the rental kart shop and pro shop
• Oversee member contracts and garage lease agreements
• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan for all revenue streams
• Drive sales and execute corporate events, establishing a structured corporate sales approach
• Cultivate and nurture client relationships
• Perform other duties as required

Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a General Manager role
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience in karting is advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
• Strong personnel management skills

Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 based on experience. The actual base salary will be determined based on experience. A staged salary structure will be implemented, starting with a base rate during the owner/member facility phase in 2024, with an increase upon the completion of the rental karting program. Sales and budget bonuses will be provided in addition to the base salary, TBD based on profit and sales targets.
