Driver

The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods from one location to another.

Their primary duties include driving a delivery vehicle, ensuring timely deliveries, and

maintaining effective communication with customers, bakery and customer support

coordinator. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

Driving Record: A clean driving record is essential. Drivers need a valid driver’s license,

Basic Math Skills: Necessary for handling invoices and receipts.

Customer Service Skills: Friendly demeanor and excellent customer service.

Safe Driving: Adhering to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety best practices

while delivering items.

Communication: Collaborating with other drivers and team members to coordinate

deliveries.

Timely Deliveries: Meeting delivery deadlines and following assigned routes.

Vehicle Maintenance: Performing basic maintenance, such as refueling, visual

inspections, and reporting potential issues.

Loading and Unloading: Preparing, loading, and unloading the delivery vehicle.

Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service and professionalism and

obtaining client or customer signatures and/or payments when required.

Paperwork: Completing any paperwork related to deliveries and submitting necessary

reports.

Equipment Use: Utilizing additional equipment (e.g., forklifts, hand trucks, dollies) as

needed.
