The ideal candidate should have an engaging personality to provide a warm, caring, safe, and nurturing learning environment in which students, Infants through Pre-K can develop physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially. The candidate must have the leadership skills to guide and inspire our Preschool Teachers and Staff in providing loving and caring interaction through play and exploration to help foster each student’s curiosity and growth to master the skills they need to succeed.

Requirements

• 90 Hour Child Care Certification
• 45 Hour Infant and Toddler Certification
• 45 Hour Director Administrative Course or willingness to take
• Experience with Procare (Preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related subject required (Preferred)
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience with children ages six weeks to five years.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in Early Childhood Education
• Knowledge of MSDE and Office of Child Care licensing regulations
• Physical ability for activities with children, i.e. jump, dance, walk and run

Other Qualifications

· Professional presentation

· US citizen or current work visa

· 19 years of age

· State of MD and FBI fingerprint supported background clearance
