Major Areas Of Responsibility Include
- Establishes and reinforces established Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state medical marijuana regulations.
- Provides guidance to personnel in working in a highly regulated cGMP certified manufacturing environment.
- Provides leadership to staff, ensuring counts are accurate and staff are performing in the most efficient manner possible.
- Ensures consistency in the production of compounding materials and provision for product generation.
- Provides supervision and leadership to the regarding packaging, production schedules and delivery needs.
- Responsible for inventory, recordkeeping, and quality of product at all times, maintaining inventory via seed to sale tracking.
- Works in a timely manner and strives to improve quality and maintain accuracy.
- Ensures that all products are packaged, counted, sorted and labeled accurately.
- Demonstrates leadership behaviors and serve as example to others at all times.
- Manages day to day issues as they arise, requesting assistance as needed.
- Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Manufacturing or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years’ experience in related position with an emphasis in an operations production/manufacturing environment.
- Experience must include hands-on responsibility for the full scope production activities, both operations and analysis.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to interact professionally at all times, leading by example.
- Manage a controlled workflow in a fast paced environment.
- Passionate about the importance of medical marijuana.
- Tracking and logging of all extraction inputs and finished extraction products.
- Meeting planned daily production requirements and understands how to maintain JIT cycling inventory production goals.
- Clean work areas and maintain tools in accordance with sanitation standards.
FLSA status: Non-exempt
Additional Abilities Required
- The job requires physical activity, including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, climbing, and lifting or moving up to 10 pounds (or more with a coworker). Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive motions with accuracy is required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
