Pay: $2,150 - $2,350 per 16 week course (Pay range may vary based on geographic location)

Job Description: Columbia, Missouri Day Campus seeks an Adjunct (part-time) instructor to teach ARTS 382: Fibers in-seat in the Fall 2024 semester. The course is scheduled to run Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00am-10:50am.
ARTS 382: Fibers presents the technical, historical, and conceptual grounding in fiber arts. Students will explore various fiber and media including weaving, dyeing, surface design, and other techniques. Critiques and discussions will be informed by lectures, readings, and independent research. The required book is “Art Cloth: A Guide to Surface Design for Fabric” by Jane Dunnewold.
Qualifications: MFA or a terminal degree in Fibers or a closely related field. Candidates with collegiate experience teaching fiber arts is also preferred. Please include a CV and unofficial graduate transcript with your application materials.
