Position: Counselor II (QMHP)
Departments: IBHS -Assertive Community Treatment Team
Shift: Individual schedules can be determined with supervisor and within business needs/hours. In general, our agency provides services Mon-Fri from 7:00am to 7:00pm.
Salary Range: $64,147.20 - $81,078.40 (annual). There are 15 steps on our salary scale. We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements).

Summary:
The Counselor II provides therapeutic services to adults and families as assigned within our ACT Team. In this role, the Counselor II conducts comprehensive clinical assessments as a part of the diagnostic process, reviews ongoing delivery of services, identifies individual client needs and diagnoses substance use and/or mental health disorders. Conducts individual, family and group sessions to provide therapeutic treatment, and behavior modification using evidence-based practice to assist clients in reaching treatment goals. As member of clinical staff and treatment teams, assists in case management and coordination of community resources to meet client needs.
Working conditions: This job operates in an office and community environment. In the intensive behavioral work, we often experience loss, challenging crisis and deep connections with our team’s. We strive to be a trauma informed and a culturally responsive agency. We meet clients where they choose, and that can be in their home, in the community or in our offices.
