Columbia Dental (483 Middle Turnpike West - Manchester) is seeking highly motivated individuals for our exciting 2024 Internship Program! This program offers a unique opportunity to:
Gain hands-on experience assisting dental professionals in a fast-paced clinical and educational setting
Learn essential dental procedures and terminology under the guidance of experienced dentists and hygienists
Develop valuable chairside skills, including patient communication and instrument sterilization
Observe patient consultations, examinations, and treatments
Network with dental professionals and gain valuable insights into the industry
General Duties & Responsibilities:
Strong interest in dentistry and a desire to learn
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional demeanor and commitment to teamwork
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Reliable transportation and availability for flexible scheduling
Qualifications & Skills:
Detail oriented
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Experience working in a dental office is a plus
Willingness to learn and grow
Excellent organizational skills to effectively handle multiple tasks
Demonstrates problem-solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork
Reliable and flexible
Self-motivated with the ability to exceed expectations
Excellent customer service skills
Able to pass background checks

Physical Demands:
Ability to be physically mobile (stand, walk, reach, climb, bend) and also the ability to stand for prolonged periods throughout the day/work hours when needed
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate medical equipment, keyboard, copier, telephone, and the ability to write/type
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds occasionally
