What you'll do:
The Brass Tacks
  • Leads hosts employed in the Food and Beverage Department. This includes scheduling, training, motivating employees daily
  • Assist Food and Beverage Managers managing reservations and floor plans, especially for holidays.
  • Facilitates sales/customer service/operations interface daily
  • Supervises division activities, overseeing daily operations of all host activities in F&B outlets
  • Ensures profitability, efficient operations and adherence to established safety and quality standards daily
  • Inventories supplies, menus, paper, message pad etc.
  • Responds to internal and external inquiries and complaints and maintains favorable team member and guest relations as needed
  • Deals with guests' challenges and communicates all issues with Director of Food and Beverage and Food and Beverage Managers
  • Assures that we exceed guest expectations by being responsive, engaged and following-through on all requests
  • Represents organization as point of contact ensuring guests' needs are met and expectations exceeded
  • Ensures a safe work environment, reporting unsafe conditions and equipment that need repair immediately and that the work area is in order and clean at all times
  • You will consistently promote and live the values of Columbia Hospitality - Honesty, Inclusion, Respect, Creativity, Enthusiasm and Accountability
The Nitty Gritty
  • Two to four years related experience and/or training
  • Computer knowledge including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Squirrel POS is preferable
  • Must be flexible and able to perform multiple tasks and work in stressful situations
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand and walk throughout the shift
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height.
  • Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, overhead reaching, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently; and squeezing occasionally

Woven is concepted by Roy Yamaguchi, an esteemed Hawaiian restaurateur who is known as the creator of Hawaiian fusion cuisine. Woven has been crafted to represent the fusion of ideas and blended cuisine with the center goal of bringing people together around food. The three threads within the design pay homage to the Puyallup, Hawaiian, and Japanese culture that will be present and "threaded" throughout the design and cuisine. The restaurant will emphasize a modern and blended twist on steak and seafood across the menu.
