Job Summary
CIS is a college-preparatory, independent school of 400 students JK-12. The focus of the
curriculum is to provide an individualized educational experience for each student. Class sizes are
intentionally small in order to facilitate high quality teaching and mentorship.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Help assess player skills and assign team
Help develop practice plans and schedules.
Work with coaching staff to cover all duties as assigned.
Assist in updating families with a weekly update regarding practice and game schedules.
Help establish and maintain standards of student behavior.
Teaches all necessary skills and game strategies.
Models appropriate behavior at all times.
Supervises students at all times.
Qualifications
Minimum of 60 college credits
Experience with the necessary skills and techniques of volleyball as a
player. Coaching experience, school or club, preferred.
Possess effective knowledge of the sport along with ability to teach players.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administration,
faculty, staff, players and parents.
