The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.Position Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director of Strategy Initiative of the Center for Innovative Exposomics (CIE), the incumbent will independently and proactively manage complex projects involving multiple teams and institutions. They will also support the day-to-day operations of the center.

In Particular, The Incumbent Will
  • Serve as liaison between the administrative office and other center components and support the center leadership in its endeavor.
  • Coordinate complex multiple-team and multi-institution collaboration related to grants-funded Coordinate complex multiple-team multi-institution collaboration related to projects grants-funded in CIE, including scheduling complex meetings, monitoring timelines, and ensuring that schedules are adhered to, and milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Oversee all communication efforts, including website content updates, maintaining contact lists, developing marketing materials, and creating and delivering presentations for meetings, events, and conferences.
  • Facilitate communication between CIE members, collaborators, and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Cultivate partnerships with various stakeholders.
  • Coordinate events organized by the Center, such as symposiums and workshops.
  • Coordinate and oversee sample acquisition and payment for the High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry instrument managed by the center.
  • Oversee the collection of documents such as MTAs (Memorandums of Transfer Agreement).
  • Perform general administrative functions, and related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.
The position is based in-person in Washington Heights, NYC.
This is a grant-funded position.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus 4 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated achievement in project and program management, organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, close attention to detail.
  • High degree of proficiency with computer software (Microsoft software applications, i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as Teams, SharePoint, Drupal, and project management tools) and ability to quickly learn new programs.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to work independently, experience interacting with all levels of faculty, management, and staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs and initiatives, and prior experience collaborating on grant.
  • Ability to work in a team setting with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks and follow-through on the completion of projects and responsibilities are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Candidates with experience in research partnerships and participatory research will be viewed as extremely competitive.
  • Experience with federally funded grants and higher education institutions is strongly recommended.
