Clerical Support Back-up:
FT position with comprehensive insurance benefits, generous paid leave, and retirement plan with employer match. Provides support at all agency locations for duties that are primarily receptionist back-up, switchboard, copying, and records room support. Utilize agency computer systems (including accurate computer data entry, other computer programs, the telephone system and other office equipment in the performance of assigned job duties to provide the maximum amount of high quality work. Schedule, cancel, reschedule and confirm appointments to maximize productivity and provide excellent customer services. Consistently complete required change forms, process redeterminations, maintain a professional, courteous and helpful manner in assisting clients and staff. Adhere to all HIPAA requirements regarding client confidentiality. Promote a positive image. Process various required reports. Verify accuracy; and completeness of staff/client appointment information, admit book recaps and associate paperwork. Deal with crisis situations in a calm, professional manner utilizing appropriate Center procedures and training. Handle incoming calls with pleasant demeanor. Confirmation calls. Prep intake/reopen letters and processing of screening information. Produce high quality copies of all Center forms. Assemble charts and supply staff as needed. Meet dept. productivity expectations. Occasional records functions.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED, and two years' related clerical experience required. Ability to effectively and expeditiously operate a computer and other standard office equipment required, with knowledge of Microsoft (Word) preferred. Deal effectively with the public and agency staff, work independently and deal calmly with crisis situations. Professional and pleasant demeanor and strong customer service orientation. Work as a member of various teams. Multi-line telephone training and knowledge of behavioral health system preferred. Ability to stand , reach, bend, lift up to 30 lbs, on occasions, without assistance. Requires flexibility and the ability to work a variable schedule at our main and satellite locations.
