Centre Avenue Health & Rehab , located at 815 Centre Ave, Ft. Collins, is hiring a Housekeeping / Laundry Supervisor who play an important role in the recovery and well-being of our post-acute patients and elderly residents :

We are accepting applications for a Housekeeping / Laundry Supervisor able to work :

• Full-time
• Flexible schedule

Compensation

• Starting wage between $16.00 / hour - $21.00 / hour DOE

Housekeeping / Laundry Supervisor

Supervises the planning, direction, and management of the environmental sanitation program for the entire facility by performing the following duties :

• Directs, assigns and oversees the housekeeping and, laundry workforce
• Assumes regular housekeeping duties for absent housekeepers
• Cleans resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Works alongside employees to ensure tasks are completed on time; inspecting completed work
• Instructs new employees in the techniques to be used when cleaning various parts of the facility
• Checks materials and equipment
• Assists with ordering and distributing supplies and equipment
• Maintains accurate records, and complete necessary reports
• Observes Universal Precautions-wearing applicable PPE
• Responsible for following all policies, procedures and the training of staff with regards to all infection control processes
• Supervisor of employees in the Housekeeping and Laundry Department
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, scheduling, assigning, and directing work;

appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Housekeeping / Laundry Supervisor Requirements

• Housekeeping experience
• Supervisory and Healthcare experience preferred
• Computer Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook
• High school diploma or GED
