Columbine Health Systems is Hiring a Transportation driver Near Fort Collins, CO

Van Driver Part-Time Centre Elderly Transportation

Columbine Health Systems has been a proud leader in senior health care for the past 50 years in Northern Colorado. We are an organization designed to not only dedicate ourselves to the care of our residents, but also to our valued employees.

Centre Elderly Transportation's 15 vehicle fleet provides our residents with transportation 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Our diverse fleet of vans and buses accommodates service to medical appointments, visits, and outings to see family, shopping trips, and other group activities.

We're accepting applications for a Van Driver able to work :

  • Part-time.
  • Schedule to be discussed at interview.

Compensation

Starting wage between $15.00 / hour

Van Driver

  • Checks Van for proper working order prior to first trip
  • Drives vehicle from individual or central location to various locations or rehabilitation centers, or other destination throughout northern Colorado
  • Assists residents into and out of vehicle
  • Picks up patients from hospital and bring to applicable facility
  • Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip
  • Keep records of trip and behavior of passengers
  • All other duties assigned

Qualifications

  • Individual must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have current drivers license and continue to meet company driving standards
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Ability to independently problem-solve situations
  • Experience working with older adults preferred
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
