Hiring a PRN Ultrasound Tech for Advanced Imaging in Whiteville, NC. Job Description : Performs a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the clinical direction of an attending Radiologist.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school or training program for Radiologic Technology with specialized training in Diagnostic Ultrasound, or graduate of an approved school or training program of Diagnostic Ultrasound. Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to the age groups of the patients for whom s/he will be assigned.
Preferred: Formal clinical training in Ultrasound. ARDMS registered in Abdomen, OB-GYN or Vascular.
Experience : New graduates may be considered although one year full-time experience in Diagnostic Ultrasound is preferred. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within 3 months.
