JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales and Estimating team is accountable for building and maintaining business relationships with Developers and General Contractors in order to estimate and sell projects. Sales and Estimating analyzes potential projects to determine material and cost requirements to ensure design and functionality integrity are maintained. Once the project is secured, the job is assigned to the Project Manager who is accountable for ensuring the project material meets the construction schedule of the customer, procuring all materials, processing change orders, scheduling delivery/installation, bringing the project in on or under budget, and providing exceptional customer service.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Manage all aspects of construction projects as related to doors, frames, hardware.
· Review all relevant project documents, including architectural drawings, specifications, addenda, and correspondence from the Architect and General Contractor to ensure accurate shop drawings are completed.
· Process RFIs, Change Orders, etc for each project as required
· Occasionally field measure openings and coordinate with installers for required material/labor
· Produce fabrication reports and purchase orders for material once approved. Ensure material meet the project schedule requirements.
· Schedule material deliveries and/or installs and invoice customers in timely manner.
· Manage multiple projects in different phases of the construction process
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
· Able to lift up to 50lbs.
· Able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and team members on daily basis via email, phone calls, text messaging, and in person.
· Ability to handle multiple projects at once with impeccable organizational and follow up skills
· Strong construction, electronic, or door hardware technical knowledge a major bonus.
· Able to work in a team environment, but also work with minimal supervision.
· Willingness to expand knowledge and job duties as needed for the success of the team.
· Comsense software knowledge is a major plus
