ComForCare Companion Services is Hiring a Companion/Caregiver Near Chesapeake, VA

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care services. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and promoting their independence. This is a paid position.

Duties:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and tidying up living spaces
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
- Engage in meaningful conversation and provide emotional support to clients
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes or facilities

-Must be punctual
