As a Front Desk Manager, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient operations at the front desk. You will oversee check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries to maintain high guest satisfaction levels.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests promptly and professionally.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and issues effectively and in a timely manner.
- Manage guest reservations via phone and in-person, ensuring accuracy.
- Coordinate with various departments to fulfill special guest requests.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette by transferring calls and documenting guest requests accurately.
- Adhere to proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain communication with incoming shift associates by logging essential information.
- Possess a thorough understanding of safety and emergency procedures for prompt execution when necessary.
- Conduct staff meetings and ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
- Resolve guest complaints and employee issues efficiently.
- Assist in sales and marketing efforts as directed by the supervisor.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
- Knowledge of hotel management or hospitality industry is a plus.
