Comfort Keepers is looking for home health aides (HHAs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), in-home caregivers, and personal home attendants to travel to our elderly clients' homes and residential facilities to provide non-medical, in-home support.

The regular wage is between $14 - $17 per hour, plus great benefits!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include providing companionship and conversation, assisting with ADLs - tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feeding - and IADLS - performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing, laying out clothes, and assisting with dressing, planning and preparing meals, providing medication reminders, providing transportation to and from appointments.

You may also help family members learn safe care & dementia care techniques. Our direct care staff offers both companion care and hands-on personal care as noted above.

• MIN. JOB QUALIFICATIONS are to be positive & professional, have the ability to treat elderly clients with dignity and respect;
• the ability to interpret the client's provided / customized plan of care; a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance (we drive to client's homes and provide transportation as needed);
• at least 6 months of senior caregiving experience (agency, facility, private client); the ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations;
• tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and / or cats); must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates, and / or emergencies;

and able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

In this field of home care, you have a flexible schedule (we work with your schedule) and perform one-on-one care. The office team works hard to find you a client close to your home but you are expected to be able & willing to drive 10-20 miles for shifts.
