Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head housekeeper by managing the housekeeping staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards
- Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that guest requests and special cleaning needs are met promptly
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are properly stocked and maintained
- Handle guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services and take appropriate action to resolve them
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of custodial, hotel, or industrial cleaning practices is preferred
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques is an advantage
