Comfort Systems USA Central Texas is Hiring a Plumbing Service Technician Near Austin, TX
Comfort systems USA Central Texas is a Premiere Commercial HVAC/Plumbing Service Company. This is a full-time position with full benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
Job Summary: Plumbing Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repair and maintenance tasks on commercial/industrial accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plumber determines service needs, quote prices, and perform repairs.
- Work involves performance of skilled plumbing tasks in maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of fixtures and equipment. It also includes installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems.
- Must be able to assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
- Basic repairs of faucets and pipes.
- Ability to diagnose and analyze causes of plumbing problems.
- Be thorough in inspections, and accurate in quoting replacements or repairs.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Texas Journeyman's Plumbing License
- 5 Years Commercial Plumbing Service Jobs Experience
- Must be able to install fixtures, make plumbing repairs to all systems, and be proficient in running drain calls and sewer machine operations.
- Ability to work alone and go on service calls with a professional customer service attitude is a must.
- Domestic or Hydronic boiler experience is a strong plus.
- Steam Boiler Experience is a strong plus.
Schedule:
- Day shift Mon.-Fri.
- On call when needed
License/Certification:
- Valid/Current Driver's License
- TX Journeyman's Plumbing License
