Job Overview:
To deliver varied social work services to Hospice patients and their families. to provide initial emotional, spiritual, psychosocial assessments, ongoing counseling, bereavement services and community education, outreach and referral. The Hospice social worker is an integral part of the Hospice IDG.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- State licensure as a Social Worker
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines in social work practice
- Strong research skills to inform evidence-based interventions
- Capacity to apply systems theory in assessing clients' needs and interventions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
