Job Description:

The Semi Trailer Repair Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing semi-trailers to ensure they are safe and operational for transportation purposes. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, experience with semi-trailer repairs, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and structural issues on semi-trailers 

- Repair trailer components such as doors, floor, rail, roof, post, or side panels.

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as brake inspections, tire replacements, and oil changes

- Troubleshoot and fix hydraulic systems, air brakes, and suspension components

- Weld and fabricate parts as needed 

- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend repairs 

- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used 

- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working in the shop

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent 

- 2 years of experience as a semi-trailer repair technician

- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, air brakes, and electrical systems

- Welding and fabrication experience preferred 

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication and customer service skills
