• Deliver Finished Goods and Raw Goods between CPC Mora locations in accordance with company policy to meet or exceed company goals for safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities (tasks that you do to achieve the accountabilities) :

• Ensures company standards for safety, quality and customer satisfaction are met or exceeded.
• Responsible for the transportation of materials between the building locations
• Sort returnable packaging and label correctly
• Perform all required vehicle inspections before use of equipment, every day/occurrence.
• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Inspects shipments for damage when unloading or loading and report to supervisor.
• Assists with inventory counts, as needed.
• Cleans and organizes work environment to comply with 5S and safety standards.
• Operates Forklift
• Inspect all powered vehicles per check sheets. Report any damage or issues to supervisor/lead for MSO to be turned in.
• Performs all other assignments as required.

Qualities for Success:

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to drive a semi with manual transmission and haul 53’ trailer.
• Must be able to hook and unhook trailers.
• 2 years related experience.
• Forklift certification (or ability to receive certificate with company)
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have basic English language comprehension and reading skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Highly organized and able to work with others.
• Able to work overtime hours according to business need.
• Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks.
• Able to multi-task and work in a moderate to fast paced environment
• Pays close attention to details and follows directions.
• Dedicated to safe practices.

Physical & Mental Demands:

• Able to lift 55 lbs. up to shoulder height daily on an on-going basis without assistance.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. above head occasionally.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.

• Respond to sound and light.

Work Environment:

This position is often required to conduct business on the manufacturing floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and could be exposed to chemical or electrical shock risk. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and noise levels that are typically moderate.
