Currently we seek an experienced, full-time Cardiothoracic ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy care team in the greater Las Vegas (Henderson) area.

The opportunity:

• Full-time, hospital employed with Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican
• Provide oversight for critical care services for CVT patients, including:
  
  • Inpatient management
  • Daily rounds and patient care
  • Surgical critical care
  • Urgent/emergent procedures
  • Staff and patient education
• Participate in call schedule
• Physician led, professionally managed practice

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 1 year CVT Intensivist APP practice experience, with a strong preference for candidates with 3 years of this experience.
• Must possess or obtain an unrestricted Nevada NP or PA license
• Critical thinking and computer skills are essential
• NP Only:
  • Master’s degree in Nursing NP
  • ANCC or AANP certification required
• PA Only:
  • Associates Degree-Must be a graduate form a program approved by the ARC-PA
  • NCCPA certification required
• Las Vegas-area (local) applicants with valid and unrestricted Nevada NP or PA license strongly preferred
