As an Environmental Services Technician (EVS) at CHI Health, youll join a team of EVS techs who prioritize the safety of our employees, patients, and visitors by ensuring a safe and sanitized environment for all.

**Responsibilities**

**Eligible for New Hire $1,500 Sign-On Bonus!!!**

****Speak to a recruiter regarding incentive eligibility, requirements and restrictions for new hire employees and current employees accepting a promotion.***

***Recent pay increase, jobs starting @ $15.00/hr - $20.00/hr ( depending on experience)***

***Evening & Weekend shift incentives!! More pay on top of your base!!! (an additional $1.50 - $1.95/hr)***

* Sanitize and disinfect specific areas such as patient rooms, nurse's stations, waiting areas, meeting rooms, offices, corridors, and common area

* Contribute to hospital efficiency and integrity by maintaining quality cleanliness in accordance with hospital and CDC guidelines

* Understand and utilize all safety guidelines and procedures when using cleaning chemicals and disposing of hazardous materials

* Inventory and ensure proper storage of hazardous materials for ignitability (flammable), corrosivity (rust), reactivity (explosive), toxicity (poison), etc.

* Appropriately display signs to prevent injuries of patients, employees, and visitors such as slips and/or falls

**Qualifications**

No experience required

**Preferred Qualifications:**

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning in high traffic facilities such as hospitals, clinics, hotels, casinos, convention centers, or schools.
