The Woodlands Hospital a primary and secondary care hospital serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. Clinical services include cardiovascular services diagnostic imaging womens services (digital mammography and bone density studies) neurosciences pediatric care (Newborn and Level II nurseries) and surgery pathology and pulmonary services and sleep disorders. Clinical affiliations include The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centers Radiation Treatment Center and Texas Childrens Hospital.

Responsibilities

We believe patient comfort begins with basic patient care. Nursing assistants at St.Jospeh Patients Medical Center collect patient information, support patient medication schedule reminders, assist with meals and ensure each patients personal needs are met. They play a vital role as a liaison between our patients and their care teams. Patients depend on our Patient Care Assistants and were looking to add another to our established team!

Expectations

• Contributes to the assessment of the health status of patients
• Communicate patient information with care teams
• Assist patients/families with meals or changing bed linens
• Reports any changes in a patient's condition to the Charge Nurse
• Must have ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse environment

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Less than 1 year of previous patient care experience required
• BLS required Through AHA
