Work in the heart of #humankindess by joining our new Upper Midwest Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) Internal Travel Program!
As an Respiratory Therapist in our Travel Program throughout our Midwest locations at CHI Health, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health, you will bring your clinical expertise to provide exceptional patient care across multiple units.
Youll join an established team of Respiratory Therapists in our Upper Midwest Travel Float Pool; RTs who share your passion in caring for patients experiencing breathing issues. Our Respiratory Therapists are highly trained when it comes to delivering specialized cardiopulmonary care including breathing techniques, ventilator management, nebulizer treatment, oxygen therapies, external ventilation support and some pulmonary function assessments.
Your success in this role comes from a blend of your keen assessment skills and a sense of urgency. You have the ability to remain calm and focused in emergent situations. Your critical thinking skills enhance your care plans as you know what to do as well as the expected outcomes.
The Upper Midwest Internal Travel Program is a skilled workforce pool of CHI Health clinicians who take temporary assignments throughout 29 hospitals across the Midwest Division, in North Dakota, Minnesota, and occasionally in Nebraska and Iowa. The 6-12 week assignments will be based on patient need with our travelers going where staff is needed most. The Midwest Internal Travel Program allows us to respond more quickly to the greatest areas of need with qualified clinicians who know our policies, procedures, and core values.
