A 64-bed adult psychiatric facility Lasting Hope Recovery Center is a place of healing. All of the rooms are private. At Lasting Hope Recovery Center patients find comfort and a team of caring professionals working for them. Often mental illness and substance abuse occur at the same time. CHI Health Lasting Hope Recovery Center offers an entire range of treatment and prevention services to meet the needs of patients experiencing both challenges. Treatment is built on personal strengths and support systems that treat individuals experiencing these illnesses.

1. Has the authority to interview, hire, orient, terminate, promote, train and conduct performance evaluations.
2. Assigns day-to-day work activities; directs the functional and technical job performance of team members.
3. Allocate and direct staffing needs to meet patients, unit, and departmental needs, and collaborate with others to ensure overall staffing needs are met.
4. Manage performance including: setting goals, clarifying job expectations, monitoring performance progress, providing feedback, recognize, developing skills and addressing performance issues related to work and our Commitments using corrective action.
5. Performs security responsibilities required of Security Officers (see Security Officer job description).
6. Maintains expertise in primary visual monitoring systems including computer-linked security equipment, CCTV, CCURE and other electronic control and alarm systems.Sdfg
7. Maintains departmental inventory of supplies, uniforms, and materials; assures security vehicles are maintained in a safe professional manner.
8. Serves as site liaison for interactions with federal, state and local authorities who are called on site or require cooperation from CHI Health.
9. Participates in all safety, security and quality programs that are mandatory.

Associate's Degree and minimun of 1 year experience in the discipline OR three (3) years' experience as as security offficer OR 1 year experience as a Lead officer.
