Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Design, implementation, problem resolution, project management, scheduling, and tracking of learning activities related to the organization's Learning Management System (LMS). Manages LMS logistics including course curriculum registration, rosters, and reports. Works closely with all departments to identify and achieve department and project goals related to online/e-learning education.

Daily Operations of LMS

  • Assigns education modules/lessons/groups for new staff orientation, annual, and ad hoc requirements.
  • Collaborates with department leaders in the identification, development, and assignment of initial and ongoing staff competencies.
  • Provides for annual assignment of regulatory education (ie: infection control, safety, HIPPA, etc).
  • Verifies and/or corrects lessons, quizzes, checklists, and surveys for uniformity to meet organizational standards.
  • Assures lessons are tested prior to end user assignment.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of module and lesson assignment.

Internal Consultant

  • Functions as internal consultant to all levels of personnel with regards to education development for on-line learning.
  • Responds to requests from users and resolves issues or routes to appropriate person for resolution.
  • Communicates problems/issue resolution to all parties impacted.
  • Provides training materials and services.
  • Provides immediate documentation requested for regulatory survey.
  • Orients new users to LMS to include: log in, course catalog, lesson assignment, transcript.
  • Orients leadership on use of LMS to include: creation of lessons/module, courses, surveys, checklists, employee assignments, employee transcripts and generation of reports
Qualifications

Minimum:

Experience:

2 years in database programs, informatics and/or LMS platforms.

Experience in a healthcare environment preferred

Education:

Bachelor's degree in related field required or equivalent years of experience

Master's degree in related field preferred.

Licensure:

AZ RN license or compact state preferred.

Special Skills:

Proficient in MS office, authoring software, critical thinking and communication skills (written and verbal).

Demonstrated ability to self-direct with excellent organization, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Excellent presentation skills and conflict resolution skills required.
