Job Summary: The Bilingual Intake Coordinator will be the first point of contact for families and insurance companies, responsible for managing authorizations in the state of Kentucky and insurance eligibility for clients. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of insurance processes, and the ability to handle a high volume of data entry and phone calls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls from families, clients, and insurance companies in both English and Spanish.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for clients, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Manage authorizations for services, ensuring compliance with state (KY) and insurance requirements.
• Coordinate and communicate with insurance companies to resolve any issues related to authorizations and eligibility.
• Accurately enter client information and insurance details into the database.
• Maintain meticulous records of all interactions, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient client service.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting.
• Strong understanding of insurance processes and terminology.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls and data entry efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
