Senior Analyst FCC Insights & Reporting Do Work That Matters Risk Management is responsible for developing the risk frameworks to allow the Group to take conscious exposures to credit, market, operational, compliance and insurance risks within a Board-approved appetite. We ensure the Group has appropriate strategies and frameworks in place to assess, manage and report on credit, market, operational, compliance and insurance risks. See yourself in our team Drive and support the Financial Crime Compliance reporting team in the definition and delivery of a strategic, integrated approach to financial crime compliance across the group, providing expert advice and functional expertise around all things Data, Insights and Reporting. The Financial Crime Compliance team (FCC) is a Risk function designed to support, build and enhance sustainable and effective financial crime capability and operations within the Bank, to ensure compliance and effective risk management. Core Responsibilities Apply the Group’s FCC framework and risk mitigation strategy and drive maturation of this framework through Data, Insights and Reporting. Formulate, produce and coordinate monthly key risk management reports and papers for board, risk committees and senior leadership, and improve the way reporting is done by using the latest in data and technology. Produce and coordinate monthly data loads to enable key risk management reports. Collaboration with various stakeholders across the Group to achieve consistent and accurate reporting. Deliver high quality, accurate and timely analytics using industry standard tools to solve business problems. Utilise product, customer and channel portfolio knowledge and context to develop insights and analytical solutions pertaining to business performance. Produce custom reports and presentations as required accompanied by strong analysis and visualisation, insightful commentary on movements, emerging issues and storytelling. Reduce the potential impact of current and emerging FCC risks on CBA customers whilst also driving focus on high risk customers and customer segments. Drive effective data management across all Financial Crime data elements. Apply design thinking and Ideation Principles in the presentation of information through dashboards or reports. Document requirements as required to support recommendations and solutions for endorsements and buy-in. Support the team and contribute to ad-hoc projects, tasks and requests from Business and Support Units We’re interested in hearing from people who Have excellent business communication skills and experience in writing content for senior executive presentation and consumption. Have knowledge and are ‘aware’ of various technologies and ability to apply business-technology creative mix to drive improvements in solutions, analytics and reporting. Have the ability to work through complex problems, conclude findings and formulate recommendations. Have the ability to manage and form close working relationship with senior stakeholders in Risk and Business to prioritise, negotiate, obtain inputs and buy-in in a timely way. Are self-motivated and ability to work in a challenging environment. Tech skills We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team Commercial experience with data exploration and analysis tools (e.g. SQL/SAS) Data visualisation skills in Tableau or similar Knowledge of advanced technologies like Python, D3, R etc. Advanced skills in MS Office products such as Excel, Power Point, Visio Working with us Whether you're passionate about customer service, driven by data, or called by creativity, a career with CommBank is for you.
