Job Description

Commonwealth Dentistry is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant at Commonwealth Dentistry, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a talented group of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
  • Collect and record patient medical history
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions
  • Help educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
  • Assist with dental charting and record-keeping
  • Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
  • X-Ray Certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Requirements

Previous dental assisting experience preferred. X-Ray certification is a plus.
