Commonwealth Motors is Hiring a COLLISION CENTER OFFICE ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST Near LAWRENCE, MA

Job Summary:
The Collision Center Office Assistant/Receptionist at Commonwealth Motors in Lawrence, Massachusetts is a full-time hourly position in the auto industry. This individual contributor role is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our valued customers and assisting with administrative tasks in our Collision Center office. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering top-notch customer care.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate parties or take detailed messages
- Schedule appointments for customers and ensure all necessary information is collected and accurately recorded
- Maintain an organized and clean work area in the reception and waiting areas
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
- Communicate with technicians and customers to provide updates on repairs and answer any questions or concerns
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a prompt and professional manner, escalating to management when necessary
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a positive customer experience at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations in the Collision Center
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred, but not required
