THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As part of this position, your main responsibilities will include overseeing the development, execution, and evaluation of specialized air monitoring initiatives across the Commonwealth, as well as managing the primary network for monitoring ambient air toxins.
This will involve designing and implementing special projects, analyzing air toxic monitoring data, collaborating with Central and Regional staff to assess the risk associated with the data, and ensuring the accuracy and precision of the data in public, corporate, and legal settings.
Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing preliminary reports that interpret the findings of studies and provide recommendations for further action.
You will also collaborate with Field Operations to install, operate, and maintain monitoring equipment related to air toxins.
Coordinating monitoring projects with Regional staff, facility operators, and laboratory personnel will be an important aspect of your role.
Lastly, you will evaluate air toxic monitoring data to determine the duration of sampling studies and establish the appropriate methodology for project completion and closure, while adhering to departmental safety protocols.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Norristown.
