DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Career Advisor, you will be conducting vocational and career assessments of jobseekers to determine career objectives, interests, skills, and abilities.
Work will include providing guidance to assist jobseekers in making and carrying out career decisions for success in the labor market, identifying suitability for and / or barriers to employment and training, as well as providing appropriate tools and resources for jobseekers to achieve employment goals.
You will have the opportunity to promote PA CareerLink services to jobseekers, employers, the general public, and other service providers by coordination of marketing activities with the media, community organizations, schools, and other entities.

If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Lock Haven.
