DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be responsible for performing skilled tasks in construction, electrical work, masonry, and plumbing to maintain equipment, buildings, roads, trails, and parking areas within the Canoe Creek State Park Complex.

Duties will also include regular maintenance and repairs on automotive and other motorized equipment, as well as operating various light and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.

While the main work location will be Canoe Creek State Park, occasional assignments at Trough Creek and Warriors Path State Parks may be required as instructed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
• Shift hours and days vary due to operational need.
• Weekends, holidays and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week
• Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements :

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or
• Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirements :

This position will require possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

Other Requirements :

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
