Do you want to help elderly, home-bound people in Lebanon County? This job is for you! Join our Area Agency on Aging and help us support older adults as they age, empowering them to maintain independence, dignity, and respect while enhancing their overall well-being and quality of life.In this position, you will use your personal vehicle to deliver meals to elderly, home bound consumers in Lebanon County. This includes ordering and recording meals daily on a roster as well as reporting consumer condition changes to the office as soon as possible. You will help ensure clients’ well-being each day through the face-to-face interaction of delivering a meal. This is your opportunity to share your compassion and understanding of the problems and hardships of senior citizens as well as your appreciation for their accomplishments and achievements. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Part-time employment
Work hours are 9:45 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Hours may differ a little bit depending on the route.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. In addition to the listed rate, this position also pays the IRS Mileage Rate.

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Six months of experience which required operation of a motor vehicle as a regular duty; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirements:

You must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.

Conditions of Employment:

No suspension of driver’s license within the last three years.

Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Lebanon County. If no eligible candidates who live within Lebanon County apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
