EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this role, you will be responsible for various support tasks, which include determining inventory needs based on stockpile reviews, and monitoring the work of contractors in accordance with department policies. You also will assist in reviewing foreman payrolls to ensure their accuracy and serve as a backup for payroll processing. Furthermore, you will help generate reports that track work data, including completed production units, man-hours utilized, equipment usage, and material consumption, addressing any discrepancies that arise. Additionally, you will monitor field maintenance operations to confirm adherence to established maintenance standards and conduct field studies to collect data from various maintenance activities for the purpose of developing work standards. More complex issues are referred to the Roadway Programs Coordinator who also reviews work for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to policies and procedures. Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employmentWork hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.This position may require overtime, shift work, and travel. Dual shifts may be required during winter operations.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Temple.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
