Position Responsibilities:
-Perform a wide variety of housekeeping services at all University Student Commons & Activities (USC&A) facilities.
-Attend to all facilities with integrity and attention to detail.
-Create a clean and orderly environment.
-Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal. -
-Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
-Porter, clean and deep clean event spaces, dining areas, offices and outdoor spaces at all USC&A facilities.
-Perform floor work on a variety of surfaces.
-Notify supervisors of any damages, deficits and disturbances.
-Check stock levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
-Perform housekeeping duties during special events.
-Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
-Normal workdays for this position are Monday-Friday, rotating weekends, up to 29 hours per week.
-This is a part-time non-benefited position.
Required Qualifications:
-Ability to perform a variety of housekeeping tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
-Ability to use standard housekeeping equipment.
