Job Duties
The Virginia Center for Behavioral Rehabilitation (VCBR), a behavioral treatment center known for securely housing and treating civilly committed sex offenders is actively recruiting for Systems Analyst Manager / Transportation Specialist.
The purpose of this position is to maintain security, custody and control of resident population while committed to Virginia Center For Behavioral Rehabilitation. Responsible to maintain controlled access both inside and outside the facility.
This position will supervise and monitor employees providing direct care to residents and will supervise various programs within the living units.
This position will ensure the operation of a safe, therapeutic environment. The position will also provide direction during the shifts to line staff ensuring the safe, secure, and custody of residents. In addition, the Systems Manager will monitor activities to ensure compliance with Center rules and regular operations; maintain extensive contact with the Program Director, Residential Director, Facility Director, and Chief of Security.
This Position will oversee operational procedures during the shift, including staff conducting intakes, residents’ daily care, food and medical services, educational services, recreational programs and transportation orders. The Systems Manager may be assigned administrative duties such as special projects or with generating solutions to problematic operational issues.
Minimum Qualifications
At least two years experience as a supervisor in an institutional, detention, or maximum security environment. Must possess a valid driver’s license
Additional Considerations
Experience working in an institutional work environment is strongly preferred.
