We are looking for a Real Estate Specialist to develop and manage activities for the Air National Guard, Fort Indiantown Gap Airbase, and Civil Engineering Office as well as serve as technical consultant to the Assistant United States Property and Fiscal Officer (Base Civil Engineer) for real estate property.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Real Estate Specialist, you will utilize your unique skillset to identify, measure, and record all new and existing plant and facilities systems from reading maps, plans, property descriptions, and other real property documents. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining manual and written real property facility binders and computer based accountability records for land, buildings, utility systems, special purpose facilities, Real Property Installed equipment (RPIE), and other real estate property. Work includes using spreadsheets, word processing software, and other computer resources to document real property conditions. You will have the opportunity to prepare documents and reports that support the transfer and acceptance of new construction, alterations, and additions to existing facilities.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 5 days out of a two week pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Annville.
  • Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • One year as a Real Estate Technician (commonwealth title); or
  • Two years of technical real estate experience and an associate degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirements:
  • All positions require the possession of an active Class C driver’s license or equivalent.

Other Requirements:
  • You must possess a valid federal or state-issued photo ID and pass a favorable NCIC screening for admittance to Fort Indiantown Gap Airbase.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
