As a Roadway Programs Technician 2, you will provide technical analysis and independent evaluation of the Department of Transportation Bucks Maintenance Office's maintenance work programs. Your duties will include detailed purchasing work which will involve the review of requisitions, the preparation of bid documents, the review and award of bids, the preparation of contracts and purchase orders, and utilizing a department purchasing card within Bucks County. In addition, you will be instrumental with ensuring that all aspects of policies, procedures, goals, and objectives are met through analyzing data for the review of maintenance activities, programs, and costs.
