JOB DESCRIPTION
ALUMNI COORDINATOR
SUMMARY: To provide assistance to the Communities in Schools (CIS) of Atlanta College and Career Readiness Division, in efforts to help develop the College and Career Program REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives SPECIFIC DUTIES: Duties of the Alumni Coordinator include, but are not limited to the following:
-Participate in the planning and implementation of College and Career readiness activities such as, college trunks, Ignite Induction Ceremony, workshops-Serve as a champion of college & career and alumni initiatives and strategies.-Promote an intense sense of teamwork by working together effectively, respectfully, and efficiently with colleagues-Model and inspire organizational culture and values
OTHER DUTIES:
Attend College & Career Readiness and Alumni meetings, events, and training
REASONING ABILITY:
-Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Abilities
-Detailed Oriented
-Ability to receive feedback/coaching.
-Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
-Willingness to travel to perform the job as needed.
HOURS:
10% time- 4-5 hours per week or 16-20 hours per month
