Community Action Agency of Oklahoma City is Hiring a Part Time Driver Near Oklahoma, OK
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transport authorized passengers, supplies and materials within the various agency programs.
- Prepares various transportation reports and logs as required by Agency funding sources.
- Attends required driver training courses.
- Maintains assigned vehicle in a clean and satisfactory manner inside and out.
- Ensures that passengers follow vehicle laws such as the wearing of seatbelts, etc.
- Assists passengers on/off vehicles as required. Assists riders with unloading and carrying groceries to the passenger’s front door.
- Performs preventive maintenance tasks such as oil, tires, and battery checks. Reports required repairs to the Director, Maintenance.
- Immediately reports all incidents/accidents involving passengers/vehicles to appropriate Division Director.
- Performs other related driver duties as required.
- This position requires frequent travel to offsite locations.
- Participates in drug testing as required by Agency or funding source.
- High School graduate or GED.
- Two (2) years commercial driving experience with an excellent driving record.
- Must be insurable and possess or be able to obtain a commercial driver’s license.
- Pass OSBI background check and drug test.
- Ability to work with various age groups and cultures.
- Have no physical limitation that would preclude the lifting of supplies and materials.
