Emergency Services Advocate- $1000 Training Incentive.

Do you want to utilize your case management skills to help individuals in our community?

Community Action is looking for a committed Emergency Services Advocate to provide case management services to emergency services applicants. This individual will empower participants to reach their goals and help them access community resources.

Starting Pay: $21.00/hour

The Role:

  • Provide services for applicants by responding to all requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all funding requirements are met for each applicant prior to approval.
  • Conduct intake assessments on all applicants.
  • Offer case management services to all funded applicants.
  • Connect participant with appropriate agency and community resources.
  • Assist participant in creating goal plans and follow through with progress.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation and files on participants served.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in human services or related field and/or equivalent work experience required.
  • Case Management experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written proficiencies of the English language required.
  • Valid Nebraska Driver’s License and good driving record required.
  • Sensitivity to the experiences, needs, and strengths of low-income and diverse populations, and individuals with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of community resources.
