Position Summary
The ACH Specialist is responsible for monitoring outgoing ACH files, responds to store and other internal department inquiries, reviews and performs daily reviews of potential discrepancies, manages assigned daily works while assisting with ACH related projects.
Includes but is not limited to monitoring reports for duplicates, errors, or daily cutoff requests. Works with the appropriate department(s) to resolve any issues related to file generation.
The position also requires contribution a positive respectful, and friendly environment among subordinates, peers, superiors, and customers.
Responsibilities :
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Reviewing POS system daily to ensure ACH file flow at designated times.
Research and respond to store requests on ACH movement, customer payments via ACH and other store related ACH items.
Adjust accounts accordingly for items removed during compliance process, keeping data integrity and marking ineligibility.
Ability to run reports when needed on various ACH payments to loans.
Ensure that state rules are being followed to ensure accurate ACH movement.
Maintain all logs relevant to ACH data.
Report any mistakes, oddities, or other issues to management in a timely manner.
Additional tasks as assigned by management relating to the department to which this position reports.
Ability to manually maintain reports during periods of state development ACH processes
Additional responsibilities including but not limited too promo cards, prepaid cards and other promotional card duties.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of 3 years industry or third-party experience
Knowledge of collection industry
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programs Excel and Word and will be expected to learn basic tasks in Access.
Ability to multitask
Ability to work in a fast pace high demand environment
