Community Concepts Inc. is a Maine non-profit whose mission is to provide leadership, education, and financial resources to Maine residents to help them meet immediate basic needs while providing families with assistance to help them move out of poverty and become self-sufficient members of the community.

We are excited to announce that we are hiring for the President of Community Concepts Finance Corporation, Inc. (CCFC). The President reports to the Chief Executive Officer of Community Concepts, Inc. and leads management in developing and advancing the mission and vision of CCFC, acting on the organization’s values, and accomplishing its goals. The President is responsible for compliance, loan origination, underwriting, servicing, capitalization, and portfolio management. The President partners with CCFC’s CEO, CFO, & Board Chair to lead the organization’s strategic planning and long-range goals. This position requires regular travel throughout the service area for community collaborations and external representations. To Qualify:

• A bachelor’s degree is required, and a master’s degree preferred
• Five or more years of highly successful executive or senior management experience, including lending or underwriting positions.
• Non-profit experience preferred.
• Must be highly ethical and possess a strong combination of leadership skills and an optimistic attitude. Possess a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others, as well as provide vision, energy, and commitment to advancing the organization’s future.

Other requirements: Ability to work both independently and on team projects with a diverse constituency of staff and partners; Effective communication at all levels in the organization, with strong oral and written skills; Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents and the ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries.
