We have two open positions, and preference will be given to those who speak Chinese.
Summary
The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial statements and bank reconciliations, and supporting payroll, sales tax, and tax functions of the firm.
Responsibilities
· Perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses of General Ledger and Income Statements
· Train and mentor junior staff Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations
· File and maintain client records and adhere to client confidentiality policy.
· Review journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy
· Support managerial staff in administrative duties as it pertains to client services
· Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
· Assist with financial and tax audits
· Performs other related duties as assigned (reports, analysis and review processes)
Candidate Essential Skills
· Highly detail-oriented and organized Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees Superior analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with accounting software and programs
Qualifications
· 3 years professional accounting experience, either in a public accounting firm or in a private corporate environment
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, math, business administration, or a related field
· English proficiency required and second language (multilingual) proficiency preferred
· Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and in writing
· Previous experience with any accounting software preferred
· Proficient with IT and Microsoft Office Suites
· Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States
